My friend recommended diesel king but I ended up disappointed . Guys make sure they’re done with the work before paying.i paid for the service that I did not ask them to do. Now I’m still stuck with my repair

They know the work but they are super slow with work, they have no work ethics and systems I was reffered by a friend to get my truck fixed at this location for a Kenworth T680 Differential Repair I was quoted $4200 out the door at LA on Tuesday morning by a local repair shop, i didn't know them so trust was an issue for me I communicated with Manny on a conference call and he told me come to us we'll take care of you, I drove to Bakersfield and got there on Tuesday 1 pm and no owners were there Manny and Upkar so I waited waited nothing happened on Tuesday and on Wednesday evening they started taking off my old differential at 4 pm, they took whole Thursday to put back the used Differential and on Friday around 12 pm they started preparing the invoice and started charging me insane price for the used differential after wasting couple hours i finally paid them $700 more and lost 2 days worth of work. I will suggest please get the quote and repair time in advance before you get to this shop.

I'm a independent owner operator out of Texas. I've been trucking for 44 yrs now (11 yrs as a company driver, 7 yrs as a owner operater and the rest as a independent) so you know I've had my experiences with out of town / out of state repair shops. I give TWO thumbs up for these guys. Treated me really good and did a great job. I broke down in Bakersfield on a Friday afternoon and called 3 different repair shops before calling Diesel Kings. They all told me after I explained what my problem was that they couldn't help me cause I have 389 Pete and they do not have the computer program to hook up to my truck. Called Peterbilt and they said they were booked up and closed on weekends and couldn't get to me till Monday morning. I had a produce load on and had to be in Dallas Monday morning. My produce buyer was worried and concerned about delivery but knew break downs happen. After searching more for a shop to repair truck I ran across Diesel Kings and they told me no problem be here at 7am Saturday morning and we'll get you running. Well they didn't have the program to hook up to my truck either BUT they have experienced enough mechanics that they can search a problem out the OLD SC
